What are
Non-surgical Facelifts?
Benefits of
Non-surgical Facelifts
- Cost-effective. Minimally invasive or non-surgical facelift procedures are far less expensive than surgical facelifts.
- Shorter recovery time. Recovery time is typically faster with minimal downtime. In some cases, you can return to work the same day.
- Quick and easy. The majority of non-surgical facelift procedures take less than an hour to perform.
- More convenient and less painful. In contrast to surgical procedures, non-surgical facelift treatments have a minimal aftercare requirement. Pain medications available over-the-counter can often manage any discomfort.
- Minimal risks. Non-surgical cosmetic procedures usually involve fewer risks since they do not require general anaesthesia or large incisions.

FAQ'S About Non-Surgical Facelifts
What should I expect after the first facelift treatment?
You should see results immediately after the threads are implanted, but you may see even more results in the days and weeks following their insertion when swelling and bruising subside.
It takes relatively little time to recover after a successful thread lift. There may be some bruising and swelling, but you can resume your normal routine immediately. In the weeks following the operation, your doctor may advise you to avoid massaging your face and to avoid sleeping on your side. Sleep with your head raised to prevent rolling over on the sutures. Additionally, it would help if you skipped using your regular moisturizer for the first few weeks after a thread lift. It is also best to avoid high-intensity activities for the first week or so following the thread lift.
How many treatments would I need?
With just one thread lift treatment, you will have a result that will last anywhere from one to three years.
A thread lift is certainly noticeable, but it only lifts the face by a few millimetres, so the result is more subtle and natural-looking than facelift surgery. To enhance the results of a thread lift, your plastic surgeon may recommend additional cosmetic anti-ageing procedures like dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. The low-risk and quick recovery of thread lifts make them an excellent candidate for combining with other non-surgical procedures to produce more comprehensive and visible effects.
Who can undergo non-surgical facelifts?
Non-surgical thread facelifts are suitable for patients who have mild to moderate skin laxity. The ideal candidate is in their late thirties to early fifties. In contrast, most patients beyond the age of 55 will reap more benefits from facelift surgery. On the other hand, thread lifts can provide an alternative to surgery for older people who cannot have surgery for medical reasons. Many patients with age-related illnesses that render them ineligible for surgery, such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, can benefit from thread lifts because they can be performed under local anaesthetic.

How long do the results of non-surgical facelifts last?
Unlike surgery, thread lifts are not permanent. The effects usually last between one and three years. Eventually, the threads used in the procedure will dissolve, just like other dissolvable cosmetic treatments, such as dermal fillers.
According to a small study, thread lift procedures result in a tighter skin structure. This effect begins to diminish after a year as the sutures dissolve. However, an additional skin rejuvenation effect following the procedure lasted for more than three years.
How much does a non-surgical facelift cost?
A thread lift costs much less than a traditional facelift. The procedure does not require general anesthesia, so you don’t have to pay for sedation.
Several key factors determine the cost of non-surgical facelift treatments, including the degree of enhancement expected, the number of threads used, and the cosmetic surgeon’s and facility’s fees. The average cost of a thread lift is between $4,000 and $5,000. Combining procedures will result in higher prices.
