Prior to attending high school and university in Perth, Dr. Ethan Lloyd attended high school in the Great Southern. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Western Australia. He served as President of the University Dental Student Society and was awarded the BDsc Class of 1979 Prize in Operative Dentistry.

Dr. Lloyd typically runs through Kings Park or down the lovely Cottesloe Beach with his buddies when he’s not in the dentistry clinic, trying to keep up with them. He also appreciates the coffee culture in Perth and frequents three different cafés close to his home. He has a strong commitment to teaching and has tutored high school students throughout his time in college, a skill he intends to carry over to dental school in the far future.
